Project Details
Vogue Tyre has been in business for 95 years and they wanted a logo
to commemorate this tremendous achievement. After flipping through
many albums of their history, walking the hallways of their building
and scanning all of the historic pictures on the walls, I quickly realized
that this logo must embody what they're known for inventing: the
whitewall tire with gold stripe! Alongside the signature Vogue tire I
wanted to depict, I also knew I had to incorporate the number 95.
My challenge was to do this all, but without making it cheesy and
retaining their classy and timeless look. I also experimented with
versions from the 1900's, which had a thicker white wall and center
hub cap and logo versions not resembling their tire and with just the
big 95 (shown in image to the right).
